Youth Design Summit 2026

This 10-day immersive Fashion Design Summit is designed for young aspiring designers, ages 7-17, who want to explore the world of sewing and design while learning alongside peers in their age group. You will be introduced to collegiate-level fashion design study and future careers offered in our award-winning 7-Month Fashion Design Training Program, for ages 16 and up.

The Youth Design Summit 2026 will be held on June 8-19, 2026 and July 6-17, 2026. You only need to attend one session. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM ET. We provide the equipment, supplies, and lunch — you bring the creativity!

Skills Learned

By the end of the 10-day experience, students will gain foundational sewing skills to design and construct a finished garment.

Eligibility

Prior sewing experience is not necessary to enroll. We will teach you everything you need to know to excel in the program.

With 12+ years in the fashion industry, Samalie has a background in fashion design from Savannah College of Art and Design.
