SELF Academy, a top fashion school backed by Georgia State University and Georgia Tech, is bringing sewing education to Hampton High School. About the ProgramThe Fashion Design Society is a new after-school enrichment program where students learn fashion design from concept to creation in a well-equipped sewing studio. Members develop technical sewing skills, explore fashion illustration, create original garments, build a portfolio, attend field trips, and participate in fun community events. Sewing experience is not required — just a willingness to learn.

Membership dues directly support the operation of the Fashion Design Society and help provide students with a high-quality, hands-on learning experience. Dues are $400 per semester and must be paid by September 1st and January 1st. The program is open to students in grades 9-12, regardless of experience level. Whether you’re interested in fashion design, entrepreneurship, art, theater, costume design, photography, or simply want to learn a new creative skill, you will find a place here.
