SELF Academy, a top fashion school backed by Georgia State University and Georgia Tech, is bringing sewing education to Hampton High School. About the Program

The Fashion Design Society is a new after-school enrichment program where students learn fashion design from concept to creation in a well-equipped sewing studio. Members develop technical sewing skills, explore fashion illustration, create original garments, build a portfolio, attend field trips, and participate in fun community events. Sewing experience is not required — just a willingness to learn.
